Every cake is designed for you, so every price is too. Here is what goes into a quote and how the order works.
What sets the price
Four things shape your quote
Size
How many people you are feeding. One tier or two. A bigger party needs a bigger cake.
Design
Hand-made figures, edible prints, gold letters, flowers and toppers all add work and detail.
Extras
Matching cupcakes, chocolate strawberries or treat boxes can be added to any cake.
Date
Your date and time. Busy weekends and holidays fill up first, so ask early.

How big should my cake be?
A general guide for round cakes. Ashland confirms the right size for your party in your quote.

Baked in Brooklyn, made for your people
Ashland's Sweet Treats is a custom cake studio in Brooklyn, New York.
Since 2019, Ashland has been making cakes for birthdays, baby showers, engagements and holidays. Each one starts with a conversation: who it is for, what they love, and how the party should feel.
A five-year-old's mermaid cake. A crown for a queen. A teddy bear for a baby on the way. The theme is yours. Ashland turns it into something you can eat.
No two cakes are the same, because no two parties are the same.

How do I order?
Fill in the order form on this site. It writes your order message for you. Copy it and send it to @ashlands_sweet_treats on Instagram. Ashland will reply with the design and price.
Can I call or text instead?
Yes. Call or text (718) 404-3553. You can also send your order message from this site by text.
How far ahead should I order?
As early as you can. Custom cakes take planning, and weekends and holidays book up first. Send your date and Ashland will tell you if it is open.
How much does a cake cost?
Every cake is quoted by size, design and extras. See the Pricing & Process page for what changes the price, then send your idea for a quote.
Can you make a cake like one I saw online?
Yes, send the photo with your order. Ashland will make her own version of it, matched to your colors, theme and names.
Do you deliver?
Pickup or delivery is arranged with you in the DM when you book. Share your address or area with your order.
Can you work with allergies?
Tell us about any allergy in your order message. Ashland will tell you honestly what she can and cannot do.
Do you make cupcakes and treats too?
Yes. Cupcakes, chocolate strawberries, treat boxes and dessert tables. They can be ordered alone or added to a cake.
Do you make cakes with liquor?
Liquor-inspired cakes and treats are for adults 21 and over only. Ask about them in your order.
